I love pizzas of all shapes and sizes. Rosati's is great for when you want a deep dish that is generically good, as in, representative of the deep dish pizzas that's served in Chicago without any bells and whistles. It's much better than Dominos or Papa Johns, but not quite at the level of something you'd get at a sit down. The reason I give it 5-stars is that the pricing represents this tier level of pizza perfectly. Also, they don't force tips from you the way cafes and some delivery only restaurants do. No hidden fees. Highly recommend.
Seeing all the bad reviews my husband and I are definitely cautious. We haven't had a bad experience however we don't order from them often. We live closer to the Rosati's on Gilbert rd. But that Rosati's reviews are worse! So far our pizza was good.
I'm giving them 4 stars because they've upped their game from a couple years ago when they changed hands a couple times. I'm not a fan of the new pricing games. I've found the best deal is the 19.99 two topping medium with bread/cinnamon sticks and a 2 liter soda of your choice. I used to be a large Chicago Classic with a free small pepperoni kind of guy. Now we get a medium sausage and pepperoni well done light on the cheese. If you like a lot of cheese, and I mean a lot just get it with the regular amount. You shouldn't have to ask for well done since real Chicago Thin is where you get the brown spots on the cheese. Not just melted white. Their sauce is up there. The sausage is spot on and the pepperoni is good as well. And the crust is good as well. In Chicago Rosatis wouldn't make my top 10 but in AZ it's in my top 3. And this review is good for both the Ocotillo and Tempe locations only. All Rosatis are not the same.
